Safeguarding precious metals is an important decision, and at Rheingold Edelmetall AG we believe that clarity and transparency in storage fees are essential. Our custody charges are calculated daily as a percentage of the stored asset value, giving you a fair cost structure that remains fully comprehensible and precisely reflects the true worth of your holdings.
The minimum annual fee for an account is CHF 50.00. Once your account value exceeds the threshold, we apply the percentage rates shown in our tariff overview. From that point on, the percentage listed in the table automatically applies to the actual value of your stored precious metals.
We determine the market value each day using the official fixed daily prices over the billing period and use this to derive the proportional fee rate. These daily amounts are summed over the settlement period, so you always pay exactly the price corresponding to your actual storage value. The outcome: complete cost transparency, fair tiered pricing, and maximum security.

Fees shall be calculated on the basis of the value of the items stored, which shall be calculated according to the fixed daily price during the calculation period.
