Custody of precious metals and the regulatory environment

This precious metals deposit has been subject to the Liechtenstein Due Diligence Act since 1 October 2021.

This means that all documentation and information concerning

• The contractual partner
• The beneficial owner
• The origin of the assets

Must be submitted.

Specifically this means that the following information must be presented or must be contained within internal documents for all business relationships:

The information must be examined with reference to the following documents

• Personal data of the contractual partner and all beneficial owners must be established by examination of his/her passport or ID card and confirmation of home address.
• If the contractual partner is a legal person, a commercial register extract must be examined.

Data protection

Liechtenstein also implements the very strict EU-wide data protection rules (GDPR) and thus guarantees the best possible protection for your data. In addition, the precious metals deposit is not subject to the rules on the automatic exchange of information and thus continues to offer the best possible protection for your privacy.
